We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and assertive Business Development Specialist to identify and contact prospects with upcoming online initiatives. You’ll be an integral part of our sales and marketing team and assist in our companies’ pipeline development.
Strong communication, perseverance and interpersonal skills are vital to effectively work company lists and identify prospective clients for direct communication.
Responsibilities
Build the pipeline: Identify new leads through cold-calling, social media, email marketing, networking and industry events.
• Research and understand target audiences, products and services
• Execute processes: Implement contact and lead nurturing strategies
• Manually review client lists and actions to identify opportunities for outreach
Ownership of assigned campaigns – making initial contact, follow-up correspondence, and quantifying client for hand off process
Qualified Candidates Are:

• Able to work autonomously but know when to engage others

Knowledge of outbound selling best practices and proven track record of success
Experience:
• B2B technology product and/or service industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in demand generation, lead qualification, or outbound selling
• Experience with web-based programs and social media
• B.S. in business or related field desired but not required
